Reflection

When you wake up every morning there is a new opportunity to reflect on God’s work in your life. Your destiny is restored every day through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. When we look at our lives from the perspective of the victory of the cross, we see that God is faithful to his promises. that his mercy never ends.

No matter how far we feel from God, God is with us. I encourage you to memorize these two verses. Repeat it every morning. His faithfulness is great. We can trust God to keep His promises.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Lamentations 3:22-23

The Book of Revelation contains God’s promise to restore peace and justice forever. Imagine complete peace. I fully understand that at this moment I cannot even perceive peace and justice in such a world. But that’s what we all want. It would be nice if every little thing was right, but when self-interest comes together, that becomes impossible. We cannot do this on our own. We must rely on a perfect, holy, and righteous Savior to do this for us. And God has it and will do it.

Where in your life do you see God making all things new? Where in your life do you need Christ’s intervention?

“And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.’”

Thank You for taking the time to read.
