True Strength

Where do we find strength? Where do we get our strength?

In the Lord our God! Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, a help in trouble. So we will not fear, even if the earth is disfigured and the mountains collapse in the sea, even if the seas roar and bubble and the mountains tremble under their surge .

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous ran there and were safe.

Nehemiah 8:10 Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Isaiah 41:10 Therefore do not be afraid, for I am with you; Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and help you; I will support you from my right hand.

Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and my song; he gave me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him, the God of my father, and I will glorify him!

Psalm 9:9-10 The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in trouble. Psalm 34:10b He who seeks the Lord lacks nothing.

Isaiah 26:3-4 God keeps their souls at peace, because they trust in Him. Trust in God forever, for in God you have an eternal rock God gave us a strong and powerful spirit Through faith in Christ, we receive a spirit of power, love, and discipline, and for this reason we have nothing to fear. We can keep His promises and be confident that He will be with us even in our darkest days.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of strength, love, and discipline.

Psalm 138:3 When I called out, the Lord answered me; you made me brave and brave.

As the verses above illustrate, we are taught to call on Jesus Christ and He will hear us, giving us strength, hope, and grace enough to get us through. He will be our constant help when we need him, and he can bring us a peace beyond all understanding. For me, this is extremely encouraging.
