Finding a way

God created you. Not only that, he loves you so much that he wants you to know him now and be with him forever. Jesus said: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus came so that each of us might know and understand God in our own way. Only Jesus can give meaning and purpose to life.We feel this distance, this distance from God because of our sins. The Bible tells us that “We all, like sheep, have gone astray;

Each of us has turned our own way. 2In the end, our attitude may be either actively rebellious or passively indifferent to God and His ways, but all of these are evidence of what the Bible calls sin.The result of sin in our lives is death – spiritual distance from God.

Although we can certainly get closer to God by our own efforts, There is a gap, a chasm, between us and God. The arrows show our efforts to go to God…do good to others, religious rituals, trying to be a good person, etc. But the problem is that none of these good efforts actually cover up or take away our sins.God knows our sins and is a barrier between us and God. Furthermore, the Bible says that the penalty for sin is death. We will be forever separated from God.
