In the belly of life

We will realize many stories in the bible have powerful meanings Thus, Jonah in the tummy of the extraordinary fish addresses the lethargic state and murkiness of the colder time of year solstice (obliviousness) that should be survived assuming he will rise above his lower nature. Keep in mind that Jonah has the chance to rise again on the third day with his resurrected spiritual nature even though he is thrown into the watery grave of the sea and buried by the great fish!

This is what has been going on with Jesus. Why do you believe that Christmas is when Jesus was supposed to be born? because it’s the winter solstice season! Furthermore, the narrative of Jonah is a restoration story of sorts very much like the tale of Jesus. For what reason do you suppose Jesus himself cites the narrative of Jonah as the main valid “sign” to the Pharisees?

A sign is sought by an evil and adulterous generation; also, there will no sign be given to it, yet the indication of the prophet Jonah: Because Jonah was in the whale’s belly for three days and three nights; According to Matthew 12:39-40, “so the Son of man shall be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

Recollect that I let you know before that the extraordinary fish addressed the “earth” and man’s lower nature? Indeed, even Jesus is telling us emblematically that his story addresses a birthing from the lower nature to the higher nature when he expresses that the “Child of man” should go to the “heart of the earth” (passing to the lower nature).

In the next chapter of Jonah’s story, we learn that he experiences a significant event in the whale’s belly. He begins to focus on the Lord and pray. Did he actually pass away, as the traditional Christian church teaches? Absolutely not! Instead, he died as a physical being. In Jonah’s prayer, the Bible author makes this clear:

“I went down to the mountain bottom; The barred earth surrounded me forever: however hast thou brought me up my life from defilement, O Ruler my God” (Jonah 2:6).

Notice how this request doesn’t have anything to do with being the strict midsection of a whale. We are brought back to the subject of man’s lower nature as represented by the earth by Jonah’s prayer! Recollect that the earth addresses the lower nature. The defilement he talks about manages genuineness. If you pay close attention, you will notice that Jonah’s prayer is about completing the process of initiation into higher consciousness through meditation and prayer (going within the kingdom). Through this, the initiate transcends the ego and enters spiritual awareness.

Generally, the three days in the burial chamber of the earth/whale in which Jonah dwells offer the chance for another rise of higher cognizance, through a course of commencement by petition and reflection. And just as the sun rises from the winter solstice to bring about the resurrection of life in the spring, so Jonah rises to preach repentance to the Ninevehites, and God allows them to live! Jonah has awoken, and the dry ground is a metaphor for the solid truth of the higher conscious state.

All in all, I urge you to peruse Jonah’s request again while he is in the stomach of the whale. When your lower nature seems to be taking control of your life, the prayer is a great read because it is clearly about Jonah’s soul. It reminds us to take a break from our egos and return to times of prayer and meditation during which we can get closer to God.

How does this information help you?

You have two qualities. You are contained the low man and the high man. You can begin the process of merging your two natures into one with the Lord by entering the kingdom through meditation. In contrast to Jonah, who was compelled to go through this procedure, I suggest that you do it now and on your own time. Many people will be forced to step outside of their comfort zones as a result of the 2012 changes. Being coerced is not enjoyable. It’s greatly improved being ready. I recommend meditating in the early morning hours each day. Be ready to meet the Lord and enter with high hopes!
