What can the Holy Spirit do for you?

First, believers’ lives are impacted by the Holy Spirit in a variety of ways. According to John 14:26, he assists the believers. This indicates that the Holy Spirit’s presence in a believer is permanent and seals them until the day of redemption. According to Ephesians 1:13, He protects and ensures the salvation of those in His presence. 4:30). According to Jude 1:20, the Holy Spirit “intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God” and assists believers in prayer.

The believer is renewed and regenerated by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5). The believer is baptized into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit at the time of salvation (Romans 6:3). The Holy Spirit grants believers the new birth (John 3:5–8). In a hostile world, the Spirit encourages believers with fellowship and joy (1 Thessalonians 1:6; 14 of 2 Corinthians). According to Romans 15:13, the Spirit’s immense power causes believers to “overflow with hope” as they place their trust in the Lord.

Another work that the Holy Spirit does in a believer’s life is sanctification. According to Galatians 5:16–18, the Spirit opposes the flesh’s desires and leads the believer to righteousness. Galatians 5:19–26 shows that the fruit of the Spirit is more apparent than the works of the flesh. According to Ephesians 5:18, believers are commanded to “be filled with the Spirit,” which means that they are to give up all control of the Spirit.

Additionally, the Holy Spirit gives gifts. The same Spirit distributes all gifts, even though there are many different kinds. The Holy Spirit bestows upon believers their spiritual gifts in accordance with His wisdom (verse 11).

The Holy Spirit also works among people who don’t believe. In John 16:8, the English Standard Version, Jesus stated that He would send the Holy Spirit to “convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.” The Soul affirms Christ (John 15:26), directing individuals toward the Master. Currently, the Holy Spirit is also fighting “the secret power of lawlessness” in the world and preventing sin. The rise of the Antichrist is thwarted by this action (2 Thessalonians 2:6–10).

A further significant function of the Holy Spirit is to impart to believers wisdom that enables us to comprehend God. God has shown us these things through His Spirit. The Spirit investigates everything, including God’s deepest secrets. Because nobody knows a person’s thoughts better than the spirit that lives inside them. Similarly, nobody knows the contemplations of God with the exception of the Soul of God” (1 Corinthians 2:10-11). We are able to comprehend the thoughts of God as described in the Bible because we have received the amazing gift of the Holy Spirit within ourselves. The Spirit aids in comprehension. This is not human wisdom but rather wisdom from God. The teaching of the Holy Spirit can never be surpassed by human knowledge in any way (1 Corinthians 2:12–13).
